I agree with Farmer Bob, and want to add that in my experience with both my A/Super A and neighbors' 2N, 8N, and 9N Fords, I believe the Farmalls are both more reliable and easier to maintain. BUT, 3 pt implements are preferred by many people for small acreages. I am not one of them. It is slower to change implements on an A, but you really don't change them very often. An A with a belly mower makes a great finish mower. And visibility with a front blade or mower is unexcelled. An A is very stable on side slopes when the engine is to the uphill side. I suggest you test drive both to get a feel for them. You might also consider a wide front Farmall H or Super H with aftermarket 3 pt if you must have a 3 pt. The H sits up high and may have more recreational value than either an A or a 8N.
