Hello Sepo, Diesel's are just like any other engine. White smoke is compression, blue is valves and black is good. I'd check for black floaters in the water or black scum as this would be a blown head gasket and with white crystels in the top of the radiator then sodium silicate has been added to plug a blown head gasket. Milky apperence of oil is water so block or head is cracked. If it runs smooth there should be no problems with 550 hrs providing it hasn't turned over and if it has, if the price is right how could you loose. Enjoy! T_Bone
