Regardless of what they say about Hiniker or Year-A-Round cabs, they are far and away better cabs than any pre-86 series IH cab. Definitely better visibility than an ice cream box, or a diamond, or even the factory 66 series cabs.
Really they're not that bad in the summer with the windows open and the fan running.
A lot of the problems with noise and dust infiltration are due to age. The interior has crumbled and the window/door seals are shot. You can throw some hushmat on the ceiling and inner fenders to knock down the noise a whole bunch.
