1sarge, I noted your picture of your 350 ....you got your model for a great price, and I too, got a gas 350 for $600, and it looked wore out at first....see son on first picture .....then I redone her slowly but surely, see other picture, and it turned out great, and a nice light duty tractor. Learned to drive on one, so always loved them models. They were great in mowing hay, used to have a 9 foot fast hitch mower we thought was super fast before swathers came along .........ha ha Engine on this gas model still runs sooo great ! It even has the heavy duty rear axle. This tractor was abused in its work day I do know that, and I did have to get some hood sides too. This gas 350 handles our IH 620 (spinner plow, 2-way plow) great, it does have a 3 point adapter for her...

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
