Like the other guy said you will have to replace the whole cluster. On my 1256 I took a 6" by 6" piece of aluminum and used a hole saw to cut the proper sized holes for a temperature gauge and an oil pressure gauge. I bent the top 2" at a 45 degree angle and drilled two 1/4" holes in that top two inches. I bolted this piece to that access door down by the platform in the center. I installed a temp gauge and an oil pressure gauge. Now I can glance down at anytime and check temp or oil pressure. I wanted an oil pressure gauge instead of an idiot light and the temp gauge in the cluster didn 't tell me a whole lot. I like regular gauges for temp and oil pressure.
