The tires on my M should be original. The tractor was used only with an ensilage unloader - which I took off. The original owner said it was never used in the field. I looked at the tires again and they have the old style cleat pattern. The tractor tires are: BF Goodrich Silvertown 12 - 38 HI - Cleat 6 ply Tractor Type The old tires are very weather cracked. I need to replace them to finish the restoration. I called several tire dealers and they ask the same question about 12.4 - 38. Nobody can find the old 12 - 38 tire size. I assume the 12.4 - 38 will work. Thanks for the responses. This is a great site!
