Guy Fays' "Farmall Letter Series Tractors - Originality Guide" states on page 11 that W12B stands for Pneumatic tires, swinging drawbar, starting, and lighting package.
Go buy the book ;) It is WELL worth the money.
My tractor has that and it looks like this. I'm not sure that is correct. What does yours look like? Some of them I see have two things the drawbar slides on. One is on top and one on bottom. Some of the other stuff on the rear end of this tractor has been "reworked" so this may be one of them.
