IH444 hp?

Hello, I can find all the data on the old Farmalls, but having trouble finding info on newer tractors. Does anyony out there know what the HP is on a IH444 (don't know the year)? My stepfather bought it thinking it put out more then a Farmall 400 (probably figured since the ##'s were higher the HP must be higher also). I told him I didn't think the 444 was as powerful as our older 400's but don't have the facts to back it up. Thanks, Skeeter
