Put the M out in the fence row and get a SMTA, 400-450. Install 560 gears. If you wanna go nuts, put on 660 planetaries and make sure the TA works.
M low-low first requires new countershaft, new 2nd/3rd contershaaft combo gear, new mainshaft 1st/reverse gear, and new reverse idler combo gear. You can find that kit on the CaseIH parts catalog. You should check that source out to make sure that I am reasonably correct. I am clear that it takes four separate parts to make the changeover. I wouldn't bother. I'd get another, but later, tractor.
