I kinda like the F-30s and they are rare compared to the F-20s. I think $800 is OK as long as you are pretty confident that you have all the parts AND you like to (or at least can) re-build engines. Assuming everything is as he says it is, you get a pretty good tractor for $800 plus some sweat equity. It has been my observation that the older models despite the age and attrition (which in most cases would drive the price up on other types of antiques) (like furniture), it seems that older and rarer tractors don't fetch the premium that some newer (more popular) tractors bring. Read into that whatever you will about the value of the tractor. Just my thought, but I think the relative difficulty in finding parts and the limited utility of these older machines could have something to do with it. Been wrong before and could be wrong this time to...BB
