You funny I have more then 20 engines on the place right now and I can turn all of them over by hand by way for the fan belt you just have to be smart enough to know how to hold the belt with one hand and then turn/pull the fan with the other. Been doing that now since I was 15 year old or less and have never had any trouble turning one that is not locked up that way other then a diesel. Unless of course it has a fan clutch like my Chev truck has. Do that is how i tell if an engine is locked up when buying a fence row tractor and have only had one that fooled me and it has a locked up water pump and that was on an M that I have
