Wow, thanks for all the replys! Here is some more info that I should have offered from the beginning to clear up some confusion. This is not a new radiator, my dad put it on in the early '90's when the old one was just beyond repair. I think he bought it new at the time. (yes, dad ran it since the early '90's without grill or hood). In those days he had a hard time finding a radiator, when he finally found this one after a few weeks without use of the tractor he said, "good enough!" But then, he wasn't a particularly picky man...but I digress. The system is not pressurized, there is no cap (dad used a Dr. Pepper can with the top cut out of it...), but it looks like it would take a modern style pressure cap. There are no leaks when I run it as is, but how would I tell if it would leak in a pressurized system?
