Skeeter this has been mentioned on the M also. If you take the pedal off, you will see the hole has worn so it looks like an hour glass. There is no bushing. I have heard comments about drilling the hole and installing a bushing, or getting another pedal assembly. The shaft might have some wear but my neighbor's M pedal itself is the culprit on his.
