They can be made to work. They are very similar in most ways, but the flange mount is different in spacing. Thus to allow it to fit the manifold must be modified to a wider spacing. Not much, it is about one fole spacing split between the two holes. The added carburation will do little good, and some performance issues unless the engine has mods to make use of the added volume. A increase in RPM to 2100 or so, a big bore kit, and a cam, with a good valve job will be operational. Jim
