Did this person who told you this BS about some stuck valve at least LOOK at the tractor and perform some diagnostics before he came to this conclusion?
HOW the tractor "stopped moving" is a lot more important than the fact that it doesn't move. There are 100 different reasons the tractor could stop moving.
Did the tractor just up and stop all at once?
TA going bad usually begins with the tractor stopping when you shift the TA once in a while. Then it gets more and more frequent until one side of the TA doesn't work at all. Eventually the tractor will start to slip on the other side, and then stop moving.
