I'd guess that about ten engine oil filter gaskets can be had from your local NAPA store for about the same price of what one will set you back at your local CIH dealer. They usually don't stock them, though. IIRC, the NAPA number for the gasket for the narrow (both short and tall) letter and number series oil filters is 5070 and the gasket number for the wider filters for the diesels (and some gas engine tractors) is 5074, but double check. Wix and Fleetguard filter companies offer the gaskets seperately, too.
It never hurts to have an extra gasket or two around. Some (especially the twisted up mess of a gasket that comes with the 1-piece paper hyd. filter for -60 series tractors and more) are sometimes damaged in the package, and I've torn more than one filter gasket/seal while installing filters. Some brands of filters don't come with the gaskets, period.
An suitable washer for the oil filter canister can probably be sourced at a local auto parts or hardware store as well.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
