I was in charge of the construction for a storm water pumping station, at this location, that pumped the rain water over the levee and into the Missouri river. This was in 1988 when they built the new GM plant on this property. I noticed then that the old "bullet bunker" was still in place on the north end of the property. After all the guns were in place they would pull the plane down there and fire all the guns into the bunker.
