Its a bit tricky. Remove the Fill plug from the top of the case, then remove the bolt that holds the PTO shaft lever. This will allow it to be rotated further forward and engage the collar further back. As you bring the assembly up and into the rear of the case, look down into the case through the fill hole. Hook the PTO collar and then slide it further on up and guide the shaft in to the pilot bushing. Helps to have a well placed light and no extra "helping hands", they'll slow you down!!
