ive got an 806LP and a 450LP and i fill them right from a 500 gallon tank next to my building. i have a hose thats hooked to the LIQUID line of the main tank with the other end having the adapter to screw right on to the LP tank on the tractor. If its a sunny day and the big tank is hot from sitting in the sun and the tractor is inside or in the shade, i can fill it without venting it at all and i dont have a pump. takes about 2 minutes to do. pretty easy.
your local fuel guy should have all the parts you need. my transer hose and valves were about 70 bux
