Been replacing all the oil seals in the transmission of my A and have asked a few questions here on it. I finally got the driver side done and tonight took off the left side tire and hub. My odd finding is the hub for the left side is very different from the driver side. The driver side is very heavy, maybe a 100 lbs while the left side was light metal, not too much weight, maybe 25 lbs. Was this normal for an A and if so are the hubs on the correct side. There are wheel weights that go on both sides. Is the driver side purposely more heavy due to it being an off set tractor with the transmission weight on the left side?
