Mike, Yes, I can't complain about the Engines I have run Dello in..., 1982 Ford 3/4 T 4x4, 351 Winsor 125K to 300K (sold) 86 Chevy Suburban 350 from 85K to 240K (Sold) 97 Ford 1/2T,4x4, 4.6 V8 from 12K to 336K (currently) 01 Ford 7.3 DSL Crewcab, 4x4, 105 to 227K (currently)Here Dello is the oil of choice for 95% of all Ford 7.3 DSLs 1974 IH 966 3500hrs to 5000hrs (currently) I believe we all pick a flavor we like best for some reason. Just change it Often,Both filter and oil, And some older engines you can pour in a gallon of DSL. after you have drained the old oil out let the engine idle for 3 to 5 min and flush the engine even more! What is wild to me... You are as much on Rotella, As I am on Dello! I have come across guys that the have 100K + miles on their cars and truck and their oil of choice is....What ever oil that is on sale at the oil changing place when they get there the day they need to change oil!! Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
