About two months ago, I bought a rear right angle PTO for $125 on eBay. The fiber pulley is in poor shape but I don't need it. I think there might have been four bidders.
About seven or eight years ago, I saw one go for over $700 on eBay. I think it came off a 1000 rpm PTO.
About 15 years ago, I purchased a NOS unit in a crate for probably less than $50. It was formerly owned by a dealer who bought it at another dealer's auction.
Bear in mine that there are at least two different gear boxes and they look the same. It's a gear ratio thing. Some also have a different length female input even though they can both have a six spline. It is a little confusing unless one does a parts book investigation.
