It really does look nice, and almost seems a shame to put it into use. But that's what it's there for.
Our club just got access to small hay field on a town owned farm property, and my goal is to gather together the equipment for a small club-owned haying operation, that can stay at or near that farm, and be maintained by the kids.

I think you need a Super A so you can recreate the shot from the book.
The only thing I will warn you about when it comes to using it is hoops can be broken if you push it to hard and they're NLA. I bet you could make your own with a form and some time though.
Up until 1996 or so the one I have was the main working rake on the farm! Pair it out with a JD 14T, a 4 basket Kuhn tedder and a 2 point sickle bar mower on the 200 and that's how hay was made here.
