I would even agree with this.But for $4000.00 The thing BETTER perform ("worker tractor")CONDITION is EVERYTHING!!!!! Is it complete and mechanically sound??? Rear tires is a NO brainer!(There is $1200.00 + right there!)
There are just alot of things to consider when buying one.
I am sorry but the $10.000 price posted lower down is NOT sane! (That is DIESEL prices there!) If somebody paid that,they had expendable cash and OBVIOUSLY not a clue what I could have bought him one for!Was it #501 serial # or something?? A diesel??? Ridden by Cyrus McCormick himself???? It AINT no Rolls Royce.
I live in Indiana,EVEN though it WAS 10 years ago,I passed up on 3 SM TAs to get to my Super M.All 3 were within about 150 mile radius of each other.(I DID NOT want a TA.It IS nice,BUT mostly a novelty/collector thing these days.(For what I do,the TA was a mute point!)
The prices were ALL about $1000.00 more than what the Super Ms were going for!!!!
The GAS version of the Super M TA is NOT that rare!
