Well, I've used a plow like that on a Super A and turning the drawbar around is what you do. The AV must be different. To make the plow dig in on the first furrow, you need to lower the drawbar down so the plow "rides on the point". If all the parts are there (which they usually are not) at least some plows had an adjustment for this to raise and lower the drawbar. There is also a bolt in the spring hitch of the plow you can rotate to tilt the plow side to side. You neet to set that for normal plowing and use the drawbar up and down to get started.
