Steering on H

Is there any way to tighten the worm gear in the steering on an H? When the tractor goes down the road, there is quite a wobble in the front wheels. If I pull back on the steering wheel about 1/4" the wobble disappears and the steering is tight and decent. I pulled the cover on the steering gear, and the gears are in nice shape, tight tolerance on the mesh. If I push the steering shaft towards the seat, there is a little end to end play in the worm gear. Are there bushings under the hex nut plug on the bottom of the gear box? Thanks, Dave
