I have used a product called Red-Kote for gas tanks on everything. It is very easy to use and will fill small holes. You clean your tank as best as you can and wash it out to get any fuel out of it and make sure it is dry. Then pour in the Red-Kote and roll it around to coat the inside and pour out the remainder and let cure for 24 hrs. Just follow the directions on the can and you can't go wrong.
