Yes, there is a pattern. Start in the middle and "Spiral" out from there. Start with 40 ft-lbs and repeat in increments of 10 ft-lbs until you reach the desired torque.

Double check the torque after a few hours of running.

I am not sure of the torque for a H. I use 90 ft-lbs as the final torgue for F/W series tractors of the 1930s.
