If it were mine! I would pull the pedal off and drill a 1/4" hole in the center of the shaft. I would then use a Steel capable hole saw to "machine the stub so it is smaller than original, but moderately round, and straight. Then I would machine a steel bushing to press fit onto it and weld in place with an OD that was original. Then I would have the pedal rebushed to fit the new stub. Total time 2 hours if the pedal rebush was done at the same time. Redrill for a grease fitting and done. Jim
