Had this happen on a 186. Under not load, road speed and after checking all things I felt might cause this,I just set the speed of engine down as it was over speeding and that took care of the problem. I felt I was getting plate lift off from the excessive rpm's. I know that usually happens when plates get worn and under heavy load or coast but I just could not find any other reason under the circumstances and it worked fine after that. It didn't take much rpm reduction and it still was within specs at no load.
