Hal, hey good job there on your old A. It was prob. worth every penny of the 1895.00 you got for it. See though, I was planning on getting my cousin (paying him to help us)--who is a whiz at rebuilding engines to come over and tinker with both the Massey and the A and get them in good starting condition. They both run, but won"t crank right now without a little attention, nothing major, dad did that every year as he started them out. Just reg. maintanance--but neither have been started in 2 seasons now, so we"ll get him going on that soon. The A needs a new seat, the wiring to, and the signals that attach to either fender need replacements...dad didn"t keep the A around for it"s looks! It"s a good running old tractor. He"d just get a larger pillow to throw over the rusted out seat each time it gave way more. Both were running when he parked them where they are now sitting. We have attachments out back where dad dropped them off. Are they called "bog" disks? he has a couple of those, plowing disks, gang disk, cultivator, bush hog, and a lawn finisher that needs sheet metal repair where it has rusted out. All for sale, we"ll sell each tractor with attachments. Any attachments out back should work with either tractor. Almost certain both are diesel, for sure the Massey 135 is. We are in Leland, N.C. in Brunswick County, just west of Wilmington, about 10 minutes. thanks!
