It sounds like may well be pressure switch under the floor board. They were known for problems of leaking internally and causing switch to close with equalizing pressure on both sides of the contacts. (Yes, the side you are operating in runs on an open circuit switch). In fact, you can unhook the affected side to see if the switch is the problem. It will only operate in that side then. I would not recommend using the bypass harness. No protection for lockup of both clutch packs at same time which will really tear things apart. The sentry is doing it's job, telling you something is wrong.
