The field was in alfalfa/broom grass for 6 years so it was time to plow up and now put to corn. The soil is good black dirt and the 460 gaser deffinetly knew the plow was back there. Plowed in first gear for probalby 95 percent of the field. Second gear was just too much for it. It seems that i averaged about 3/4 acre an hour, probably would have been faster using a 2/16 and ran in second but i don't have that size plow nor bigger tractor with fast hitch to pull this one but either way i had fun doing it.
