You comment...."then it's off to sand blaster to get tractor done".....You may want to read up, and investigate more before sandblasting the entire tractor. I guess I have heard too many negatives on it, regarding sand getting into places it shouldn't (engine, trans, etc). I know I used to do quite a bit of bead blasting small assemblies, and I usually figured on disassembling, and cleaning everything after, or disassembling first, and masking off what I did not want abrasive getting into, and even then sometimes the abrasive would get into places it shouldn't. I know opinions vary, but I would never sandblast an engine assembly, unless I was planning on tearing it down after, and clean inside and out after, then reassemble.
