Cant help with the clicking.Remove the center cover a d tight the spanner nut a notch or two.That will increase the 'snap'.Or the cam assembly could be worn out.The nonstopping is probably warped/dirty clutch plates or missing/broken 'seperator' springs.The splines are a very tight tolerance/fit.A little dirt,rust,grooving,or grease on the disks will cause problems.I've been "in and out" of that clutch multiple times,but it has been 20 years.Call if I can be of further assistance.(970)874-3973 Steve Btw,I have most of M clutch that I'd like to sell.IIRC,it needs the handle/shifter ...
