Ah first off check timing , make sure ya got good fuel flow and next up the grade of gas as your tractor my be sporting 706 pistons and that ups the compression ratio along with just how many times has the head been milled down over the years. And they done change the gas again . also make sure that ya have good air flow thru the rad. and that the cores are clean with good flow . install a new thermostat . a word of warning if this keeps up YOU WILL score the liners and eat a piston or two.
