The wire on the side of the distributer connects to the negative terminal on the coil (assuming you are running a positive ground system). The positive wire on the coil connects to onse side of the ignition (pull button or key) switch. The other side of the switch has a lt. green wire which goes to the BAT terminal on the lighting switch and also to the L terminal on the voltage regulator. The BAT terminal has a gray wire which goes to the negative terminal on the ammeter. The positive terminal of the ammeter has a red wire that goes to the other terminal of the start switch, which is also connected to the negative terminal of the battery. The positive terminal of the battery is connected to ground. There will be a quiz tomorrow. I would suggest purchasing a manual. E-mail me and I'll fax a wiring diagram.
