improving hydralic on a farmall c

I need information on possibly improving the performance of the touch control hydralic system on this tractor. The pump has been replaced and the control unit has been rebuilt. It works fair until it gets hot then it does not want to complete the lift cycle. Any information would be very helpful thanks
