Wide Front for a 240 - Crossreference for PN's

I would like to find a wide front for my Farmall 240. I know it will probably be an exercise in frustration, but I'm willing to give it a go. My question is will a wide front from any other model fit? This might help in the search.

Now, I figure, if the front axle pivot bracket would bolt up, it might be a good indication that it would work. According to my new manuals from IH, (great quality, by the way, and price for the set was comparable to Binder's) the part number is 370 996 R1. Can any one cross-reference this part number to any other model?
