My Super WD-9 had the same problem where it was diluting the oil in its B pump. A hired hand at the time though it would be okay to just drain the pump down to the proper level instead of completely draining it and refilling it with new oil. The guts of the pump piled up bad. The front bearing seized, bent the camshaft and governor shaft, and broke both gears at the front. That was roughly 40 years ago. I kept that pump and had MB.cat (Former RPM member) repair it last year....he obviously liked a challenge. It really should have been junked. $1200 later.....and no one has ever accused me of being smart!
