Worn Rocker Arms?

Adjusted the valves on my 46 A this morning. First time the valve cover has been off since I've owned it. The front edge of the rocker arms were rounded quite a bite (more then I would have expected to be normal). My question is, how much is normal? Should the front of the rockers rounded a little to make them pivot on the valve stems? What spec do you use to determine if the rockers are worn out? Thanks!
