Drew, My IH Tractor Data Book lists a G3170 and G3171 as far back as for the Mogul 10-20 Built 1916-1920. The G3170 is a double open end with one end 5/8" and the other end is a 3/4". The G3171 is also a double open end with what is listed as sizes: 3/8", 1/2", 9/16", AND 3/4" U.S.S. nuts and 5/8" cap screws. I don't find any reference to a G8171 wrench. They are listed as being provided with tractors up to the F-30 which ended production in 1939. Both wrenchs are refered to as "S" Wrenches with opposing 15 degree offset open ends. Hope this helps.
