Gentlemen,
My 656 has developed a jump in the 3pt after spraying some rather rough ground with a 300 gal 3 pt sprayer. Now when I raise the hitch even with light loads it will come up to level, drop about 2" and then raise again. It pulses at the frequency of about once per second. The hitch seems to have the same lift capacity, though it"s tough to tell when its jumping. I"ve pulled the top cover and the pressure relief is not bypassing, and I do not see any bubbling/turbulence. The service manual says it may be the oring/seal on the cylinder, or the drop cushion valve and to determine the problem via inspection but doesn"t explain how to inspect. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
