I was not going to say that , but it is true . A close friend bought a 766 gasser and it is a nice big LITTLE tractor . when he first bought it he and i were plowing together and my 706 that was a rag would lap him in the field pulling the same plow as i was pulling . Both tractors were C291 gassers and just the extra weight of the 66 over the 06 stole power . Neither tractor had loaded tires just three do nut sets bolted on the wheels . I had 600 on the nose as we were on some hills that would put the pucker factor into a flatlander Ron had nothing on the nose . In the wet spots he was stuck faster . Both tractors were tric.'s His ft would go down faster with no weight then mine did with 600 up ft. There are two I H tractors i have never cared much for , one is a 460 gasser and the other is the 766 gasser.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
