Hey guys, Finally got my last pieces for my starter (The 3/8s x 24 FLAT head bolts for the field coils)Sandblasted case,nose and end plate. New brushes,starter drive,ALL new bushings.Reconditioned the armature.(It was in good shape to begin with.)I even re taped the field coils.(Old paper was turning to dust!!! lol)That insulating tape was KINDA hard to locate ??? New starter switch. .I painted it BLACK and added a 12 volt Delco tag.(Thought I would "upgrade" it.:) I KNOW,NOT "Farmall correct".I just wanted it to look like a 60's style replacement like me and dad used to pick up at the rebuilder's when I was a kid.It will really "stick out" on my semi old,dry rotted tires,fading paint tractor !!! lol
