Here is the way I do it.. I would ONLY have small parts that DO NOT see ANY kind of impact.(like a dash panel,trim parts ect) i AM NOT a big fan of powder on a tractor.MOST tractors I know get used and poweder coat IS NOT "bullet proof"like some lead you to belive it is.EXAMPLE: Rear rims,If you scratch,score the powder coating on the rear rims,it is not easy to touch it up like it is paint.I plow with my tractor(and everything else0and I gurantee the rims will get "dinged' from time to time.
GOOD paint looks just as good and is MUCH more easily repairable than powder coat chips.
I have seen powder coated sprint car chassis that have been done,and at the end of the season it looks like someone blasted a shotgun at the under carriage of them!!! The stuff is not the "end all,be all" of coatings.
I do HOWEVER like the high temp ,ceramic coatings on my exaust.Jet Hot rocks!!!
