Yeah, there seems to be a LOT of confusion over the decals on these things.
I had no idea what I was getting into.
I had many people telling me that I was 100% dead wrong - there's no such thing as a super A with McCormick Deering - despite the fact that I have the original hood with that decal on it.
I had a hard enough time to get it straight on the Super A's - so I have no idea what's proper on the A's.
There were only a handful of 47 super A's - the first full year of production was 48.
The 47's, all 48's, and some portion of the 49's had McCormick Deering - WITH the IH logo. (just like the one on the picture about that's on an A)
These tractors aren't all that rare, so as I said before - I'm just very surprised that it took so much effort to establish this - and that the proper decals aren't made. (other than the vinyl that I could only find through Maple Hunter)
