I just had the same problem with my H with a magneto. It would run for awhile and then quit. I tried everything to fix the problem. I found the problem by accident when I placed my hand on the coil cover and got shocked from the screws that hold the cover in place. Turns out the coil wire inside carbon was detached from the brass end and when the things got hot the spark jumped all over the place.
