I just purchased an IH tractor that has been recently repainted. There are all new stickers on it. The stickers say that it is a IH 454, but I am not sure. The questions started when I tried to get a part for the steering wheel from the dealer and could not find it in their parts manual. So, I looked at the serial numbers and checked the serial number lists on this site, but cannot find anything that matches. The local IH dealer is not sure what model it is either. Here is the information I have: Serial number (from metal label): 025118BRZ Engine # (right side): 179DT2D161673 Part # of engine block (from left side): 3055001R3 Can anyone help me determine what I have? Year? Model? etc. Thanks, Don
