I got in a hurry and posted this earlier today on the wrong board so I'll post it all over again. I'm still beating my head against the wall on this power steering thing, so I took everything apart again, and found that the deverter plug had broken away from the lip that held it in place. The body of the plug was loose in the valve body. I then noticed, (after looking at it a dozen times before)that there was already a flat pipe plug in the post directly in line where the plug would be in the valve. If there is a plug in the post (tower), why would I need a second one in the valve body? Also, does it matter which positition the selector is in (top of the valve) for the PS to work?
